India is Australia’s fifth-largest export market and is tipped to be the third biggest economy in the world by 2035, behind China and the US. Opportunities to boost Australia’s business presence in the region has become a focus for the Australian government and Trade Minister Simon Birmingham, who is launching the store in Mumbai.
“Thousands of Australian food, health and lifestyle brands will now be available at the click of a button in the world’s fastest-growing consumer market, thanks to this partnership,” Mr Birmingham said.
