Qld LNP Leader Deb Frecklington says the economic impact of the coronavirus will be “quite dire” due to Labor’s mismanagement of the economy.
Queensland is currently $80 billion dollars in debt.
“Over the last two budgets we’ve seen Treasurer Trad raid every hollow log possible, increase the budget with no way to pay down the debt in any way, shape or form or make the economy any stronger,” Ms Frecklington said.
“That is exactly why the Liberal National party have put forward a really strong plan for the Qld economy in and around building infrastructure… and fixing the health system”.
Ms Frecklington said in Queensland “we’ve got the federal government pulling all the levers they can to stimulate the economy and yet unfortunately because of the state of the economy here in Queensland, it’s obviously going to be quite dire”.
