Marco Lavazza is a big believer in coffee consumption being immune to economic disruptions.

“You know, even during the Greek financial crisis it didn’t worry our customers. They said they took away everything from us but you can’t take our sun, our beaches or our coffee,” Mr Lavazza told The Australian at the Lavazza marquee at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
