Australian economy will 'go into hibernation'

KPMG Chief Economist Dr Brendan Rynne says the government is “looking to adopt a range of packages that enable the economy to go into hibernation and come out the other side”.

“We’ve all stopped talking about stimulus, this is about ensuring the economic survival of Australia,” he told Sky News Australia on Monday.
